We stayed in a very nicely remodeled room in a quaint, older building build into hill in Lanesboro. Room looked and smelled very clean. Questions I had regarding opening entrance door were answered very quickly. We highly recommend this hotel !

Easy check in and check out process. Centrally located to downtown and campgrounds. Suite was very clean and kitchen was well stocked with anything you would need to prepare a meal. I would definitely stay there again.

We held a large family reunion in Lanesboro and the RR Inn was one of our prime locations. Ryan and Allie were great and made our stay excellent. We also loved Paddle On and gathered there quite a lot. The updates they have made are very tasteful and high quality. The system for check in and out etc is extremely well done. Highly recommend this place!

Root River Inn and Suites is wonderful! Nestled in on the most beautiful two layer hill! Gorgeous landscaping everywhere. SO unique. Natural, comfortable, peaceful. Little spots to sit and enjoy the atmosphere everywhere. We stayed in Bluff Country Suite..LOVED! Lanesboro itself is a gem…a step back in time…just park at your hotel and walk everywhere. Love eating directly across the street at Junipers on the patio, as well as sitting on our hill at Root River Inn and enjoying watching others eating there! The owners, Ryan and Allie, took great care of us. They are top notch in every detail. LOVE this place! Cant wait to come back.❤️

This is our second anniversary spending here… So delightful. Ryan and Alli and their Staff pays so much attention to little details… Larry clean, very welcoming very purposeful in all they do. We can’t give good enough reviews I would say 5+ plus plus plus plus. In addition, they are amazing people that work hard and work within intention.

We're stayed in the Chosen Valley Suite and it was a perfect home base for our adventures. We came to the area to bike and kayak (a paradise for those two activities, by the way) and we had a comfortable and clean "home away from home" thanks to our stay. The inn is steps away from all the shops and restaurants, making it central to everything the town of Lanesboro has to offer. The grounds were lovely and enjoyable, and there was an amenity for every need you might have. The hosts were so nice, and their Paddle On Restaurant (the restaurant they also own down the street) was our everyday breakfast stop. We would definitely stay here again. There are many inns in Lanesboro. I can't imagine there are any better this one!

Great people! Called last minute for a room. Very accommodating. Absolutely love the quiet relaxing atmosphere. History of the building is amazing. Absolute peaceful destination resting spot. The local flare adds so much! Great little coffee shops, restaurants, and walking paths. We have enjoyed ourselves we have traveled and stayed 5 different times in the last month. Definitely worth the stay !
