We loved our stay. The room was spotless! We loved the outdoor spaces and how quiet it was. A huge perk was the locked bike room. The Root River Inn is steps from the bike path and the downtown area. There are lots of places to eat within walking distance. We hope come back in the fall.

Quick weekend girls trip in the Chosen Valley Suite. Perfect for 4 of us! Easy access off the street and the private patio was great. Walked to many restaurants and bars. The tubing place was right across the street making it extra convenient. The room was nice, clean and secure.

The room was clean and up to date. The touches of new technology in the room were easy to use and well labeled. The ceiling fan/light was great and increased the comfort level of the room. The hotel is close enough to restaurants and other amenities that I could walk to them and it made my stay even more enjoyable. The couple who owns the Inn are the nicest, sweetest you'll meet! I will definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay! Right in the heart of Lanesboro! It worked great for our group -there were three couples plus the space offered a commons area. We came to the area to ride motorcycles of course the area has fabulous rides! It would be equally nice for a bicycle trip! Highly recommend!

This place is a gem. The rooms are nicely finished, unique, comfortable and cozy. The location couldn't be better being right on Main Street and across the street from the best restaurant in town. And the people who own and operate the place are super friendly and attentive. And they also own a beautiful coffee shop a block away! I'd highly recommend staying here when in Lanesboro.

The location was perfect for our bike trip. The Root River Trail was literally across the street. Ran into Ryan and Allie a few times throughout our two nights stay and they were helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The gift cards to the Paddle On coffee shop was a nice touch and we went there both mornings of our stay. Thankful for the roomy locked bike storage room as well!!

Great location for walking around Lanesboro with easy access to trails. Especially enjoyed the lawn with lovely shade trees to relax after Biking. The biggest plus as bicyclists was the locked bike storage room. Thank you!!!

We had an incredible three night stay at Root River Inn & Suites! The owners, Ryan and Allie, were very accommodating and responsive when we reached out throughout our stay. We stayed in the Peterson Room which was the perfect size for the two of us. We enjoyed the ability to rent bikes and travel to other towns. There was an abundance of other activities offered that we didn’t have time to do this trip. We would highly recommend staying at the Root River Inn to anyone traveling to Lanesboro and we can’t wait to return!

Great clean rooms . Very comfortable king bed, only dislike were the steep stairs to and from the parking area. And the air conditioning was pre set we couldn’t change it the room has no thermostat to adjust it. Other than that very clean and all stores were within walking distance, bike trails were very close by
