Great clean rooms . Very comfortable king bed, only dislike were the steep stairs to and from the parking area. And the air conditioning was pre set we couldn’t change it the room has no thermostat to adjust it. Other than that very clean and all stores were within walking distance, bike trails were very close by

Response from Root River Inn & Suites The building is built into a hill, which creates our feature gardens & terraced hillside, so while it does have stairs, they are normal sized. I'm glad you were comfortable in your room. When the building was rebuilt in the 90s, he put it on central air, with 3 AC units. We put a sensor in each room which tells the system when to turn on. Even though guests don't have control, it is well controlled.
