The grounds are so beautiful! The view on the decks relaxing and amazing. Lansboro suite so nice and very quiet guests). My daughter had the apartment above the coffee shop, it was perfect for them with a child. Having a gift card to the coffee shop was a treat! We both agreed the only downfall was parking. For us coming back late we had to park on the street. Lots of stairs at 10pm. And daughter had to park a distance (other side of highway) it was a fun and unique place to stay.

Response from Root River Inn & Suites So glad you enjoyed your stay. When they put in the parking lot they used all available space but we could sure use more. We note a spot on the map on your welcome email where you can park in the grass which you would likely want to use instead of the street next time. Parking for the mayoral suite uses the same parking as Hotel Lanesboro a couple buildings down, the poetry parking lot. From that lot there is a path to the pedestrian bridge that goes under the roadway. I'll look over our communication to guests and make sure that information is clear.
